Welcome to Teach Philosophy Online
My name is Chris Tennberg and I’m an active, passionate, professional philosopher. I’ve been teaching post-secondary level courses in philosophy and religion for the past fifteen years at such institutions as San Diego State University, the University of California, Santa Barbara, Allan Hancock College, Westmont College, Auburn University Montgomery, the University of Hawaii and Santa Monica College.
I have over 500 credit hours of instructional experience teaching “Face-2-Face”, “Hybrid”, “Fully Online”, “Writing Intensive” and “Honors” courses at both the lower and upper divisional levels. I’m particularly interested in developing innovative, engaging and effective online learning strategies. I am proficient in most, if not all, LMS (Learning Management System) platforms and I have first-hand experience facilitating courses using Blackboard, Moodle, Sakai, Canvas and WordPress.
The courses showcased on this site were all designed and developed by me. If you’d like to know more about me or my work, please feel free to browse around this TPO site, consider my academic CV or personal website. For access to my complete academic DOSSIER (e.g. Evaluations, Writing samples, Letters of recommendation, etc), please feel free contact me via email. Thank you!
